The India-Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 Super Four stage match will resume on the reserve day tomorrow from 24.2 overs after rain interrupted play today in Colombo. No play was possible today after India scored 147/2 in 24.1 overs. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul, who are unbeaten on 8 and 17, respectively, will resume the innings at 3 pm tomorrow.

We started off on a sunny afternoon, and India counterattacked on a seaming pitch. Both Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma scored quick fifties before they fell in quick succession. And then the rain arrived. Then we waited for two wet patches. When we finally thought we were close to getting the ground ready, the rain arrived again.

Now we come back tomorrow for a 50-over game. Imagine India complete the match tomorrow, and Sri Lanka bat first day after tomorrow, the bowlers will be bowling 100 overs in 24 hours.
